As foreign tourists, we loved the vintage deco of the Manor House and the spacious and comfortable room. The views from the balconies were outstanding and Robin, the owner, was super helpful through emails.
Felt like home, nothing to complain about.

The accommodation offers a real manor-like experience with comfortable rooms, nice views, and soft towels. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, pots, and cutlery, making cooking a breeze. The laundry room is also fully equipped, which is convenient for longer stays. The location is beautiful, with stunning views of the ocean and the possibility of seeing orcas. The digital access makes check-in easy, even for late arrivals.
The window drapes in the rooms don't effectively block out the midnight sun, so an eye mask is necessary for a restful sleep.

I stopped in Hamnøy for one night on my cycling trip across Lofoten and enjoyed the comfort of the Manor House. It really has everything a traveler could want. Many thanks to Robin and his family for preserving these treasures over the generations and now giving us the opportunity to get an insight into the history of the place. Everything about the house is lovely and homely - it made us feel so comfortable and relaxed in an amazing setting. The kitchen is fantastic and very well supplied, we wish we had got more creative in the kitchen! Such a wonderful experience to have stayed at this lovely accommodation with a historical legacy and a touch of class! Robin is a caring and responsive host, the location has awesome views all around, the kitchen and bathrooms both well equipped and spacious, comfortable living areas. Cannot wish for anything else except to return!
Would recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Manor House In Hamnoy was nothing short of exceptional. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the fjords. The vintage touches in the house added a unique charm and character. The spaciousness of the house exceeded our expectations, with comfortable bedrooms and beautifully designed bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen and laundry room were a bonus. We felt at home throughout our stay. Though we didn't meet the host in person, their availability and generous hospitality were evident. We even witnessed the northern lights from the balconies! If you're looking for a peaceful and historic getaway, this is the place for you.
If the house is fully occupied, noise could be a slight concern due to the wooden floors. However, during our stay, it was tranquil, with only one couple staying, and we experienced no disturbance.

After a fun-filled day of skiing and cycling, we were thrilled to come back to the cozy and inviting atmosphere of The Manor House. The views of the islands from our room were simply breathtaking, and we couldn't get enough of them. The house itself is full of history and has a unique charm that made us feel right at home. The well-stocked kitchen was a pleasant surprise, allowing us to prepare our own meals and save on dining expenses. The location in the heart of Hamnøy was perfect, with a bus stop nearby for easy access to groceries, the ferry, and the airport. All in all, our visit to The Manor House was an unforgettable experience.
For dads, it would be great to have a small play area for children.

It was also conveniently located next to the famous Hamnoy bridge and only a short drive from the town. a pleasant stay with good value for money.
there was a slight inconvenience when it came to adjusting the radiator in the room, as there were no clear instructions. the room was on the smaller side, but still comfortable and well-appointed.
